It’s the best way to make sure the IR transmission stays high and the lamp doesn’t crack when things get hot. Depending on where the lamp sits in your annealing zone, we can also use coated tubes. This helps the heat sink deeper into the glass fiber instead of just scorching the surface. And don’t worry about the wiring. We use the standard industrial connectors you’re already used to—like R7s or Sk15—so you can just plug them in. No need to start hacking away at your machine’s housing. Making it work in the real world These lamps are designed to be drop-in replacements. They fit your existing brackets and match the electrical load of the big-brand parts. But here is something to keep in mind: if you’re cranking up the wattage to make up for an old, leaky oven, the area around your lamp holders is going to get much hotter. Check your cooling fans.
